The KAPATOVO wine family welcomed a new member. KAPATOVO Grape Rakia – a new product in the KAPATOVO Family Estate 1992 portfolio. Rakia is a wine distillate from red grape varieties only – Grenache, Mourvèdre, Marselan. After the column distillation, rakia matures in Bulgarian oak casks for 6 months to soften its taste and gain colour.

The grapes used for the wine distillate are 100% grown in the Struma valley, in the KAPATOVO Family Estate 1992 vineyards.

For the first time at an official forum KAPATOVO Rakia won a silver award in a strong competition with other quality drinks during the Rakia & Spirits Fest 2022, which was held at the end of 2022 in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.
