Far from the industrial factories and the pollution of modern life, just five kilometres from Melnik, sit the plantations of KAPATOVO Family Estate.
The estate, whose foundations were laid in 1992, nowadays occupies an area of more than 1,200 decares in the territories of the villages of Kapatovo and Zornitsa. This piece of land accommodates orchards, lavender plantations and olive groves, as well as 270 decares of vineyards. Here we grow the white grape varieties Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and the red grape varieties Shiraz, Marselan, Petit Verdot, Primitivo, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan.
The grapes are used for the production of the Kapatovo wines and rakia. Our lavender oil is used for the Lavisto series of disinfectants.
Kapatovo Guest houses are nestled in the village of Zornitsa, just 5 kilometres from Melnik. The region benefits from splendid and untouched nature, where you can visit plenty of landmarks. Apart from being a stone’s throw away from the picturesque town of Melnik, the location makes it easy to access many local wineries.
